the buns are always cold why put hot food on a cold bun? The prices are a little steep- They need to come down on the orices because of all the other eating places going up-- The food is good but still need to price a little lower--remember this is wilkes cty not NY city. and alone the lines of cold----The owner with hot flashes needs to leave the thermostat alone y ou freeze when you go there

We ate there for the first time tonight (09/11/14) and had the 2 alarm burger. Both food and atmosphere was awesome. Wait staff was courteous and price was right. Definitely going back!

On our barbecue crawl through Wilkes, we tried barbecue twice at the Mason Jar. Both times it was just bits and pieces or overcooked leavings. You also only get a tablespoon of their rather bland sauce in a tiny cup. On the brighter side, one of our party had a hotdog. It was tasty and very good all around-slaw and chilli both great. We would, however, suggest warming/grilling the hotdog bun.

Will never go back; why is it call mason jar when all food comes out of a can. Hope you get a real Chef.

First time visit, loved this place. Waitress Ashley did a wonderful job; couldn't ask for anything better. We had the beef tips and the BBQ salad, both were excellent. The dessert was the Molten Lava Cake; very, very good. We will be back.
