There food has really went down hill. they don't keep the salad bar full and clean. buffet is way to small and they only put cheep 1 or 2 ingreadent pizzas on it anymore and its so tiny they can't keep it full your always waiting. -8 will not be going back!!!

The food is always good. No complaints. They need to find a way to lengthen the pizza bar. It's way to small for a buffet. People are always standing, waiting for a chance to get a slice. It seems it would kill them to keep the buffet full. Always running out. It is so discouraging to pay the price, and can't get enough to eat.

We called and were told the restaurant opened at 11 am on Sunday, September 30, After arriving at 11:10 am a young girl ran to the doors and we thought unlocked them. When we tried the door we discovered she had locked them instead without a word to either of us. I called back and said I had just called and was told the restaurant opened at 11. The young lady on the phone said "No, we open at 11:30." Amazed, I just hung up and then I called back again to tell her this was not the way to do business. They should have at least apologized instead of hurrying to lock the doors. We left there and went to Pizza Hut where we were greeted and shown to a booth. We could have ordered or waited the 10 minutes till the buffet begin. We chose to wait for the buffet. The server then asked us what type of pizza we liked and they made that first. We were very pleased with the service at Pizza Hut. We will never go back to the Village Inn.

Love this place! Everything about it even the atmosphere, I think I will ask if they can make the crust a little thick but I don't think so cause it would be awesome if they had a choice but none the less I love the atmophere and hope they never change it while me and my aunt and family and friends say this is the best salad bar in town while at the same time they have made a lot changes that just keep getting better and we love the booths as it feels like a step into olden days. We kinda get tired of these shiney and paper weight looks and it's a nice change that we hope they never move and the wings are the bomb on Wednesday.We love you Pizza Inn!

We used to love Village Inn but the last few times we were thoroughly disappointed. The pizza had almost no sauce, and way too thin. Several families would pile their plates high with 6-8 slices at a time, leaving the rest of us standing there waiting. They were also putting many slices in ziploc bags to take home.

Pretty good. Nice salad bar, although not kept very tidy. Not a real clean feeling in the place. Sort of pot luck on getting variety of good or bad made pizzas

Best kept secret in Wilkes County!!!! Don't know why anyone would want to give a bad review, but there are always some in every crowd. If you like thick crust pizza, ask them to make you a Chicago Special...they will put on it what you ask them to. Also best deal for the money. VERY friendly staff...One guy doesn't smile much unless you tickle him under his chin, but all are nice. I'm there every Wednesday Wing Night. See ya there!

Nice place to hang out and eat some wings on Wednesdays. The pizza is great, thin but the sauce is great for people with heartburn. All village inn pizza salad bars are great, with a good variety of ingredients to mix.

Avoid this place! The staff was surly (even though we got the buffet) and the place was dirty. My husband and I could not eat the pizza it was so awful. The salad bar was empty and the staff took their time filling it up. The restaurant is small and the buffet is situated in a ridiculous way. If you sit near the buffet enjoy the strangers watching you eat as they wait in line for their food. Really awful experience.

If you get the buffett, ask them the fix a chicago style pizza. normally they will and put whatever you want on it. i like that kind of service. they get my business

I sometimes wish there was more thick pizza on the bar but I have never left Village Inn disappointed. At one time in Wilkes they had competition for their salad bar but not since Western Steer (how long is that?) Great place to eat with no frills and no surprises. -Brian

No thick crust Pizza on the days I went. The thin crust Pizza tasted "dried out". Skimpy on the toppings.

WE ALWAYS ASK FOR CERTAIN PIZZA AND ITS ALWAYS MADE AND THE BRING IT TO OUR TABLE AND WE GET WHAT WE WANT AND THEN THEY PUT THE REST ON THE PIZZA BAR
