I didn't see that one in my quick search whyzit, but just because someone is asking that much for it, doesn't mean that they will get it. I have one of those Princess Di beanie babies myself. I was a kid in the 90s and collected beanie babies. My Princess Di beanie baby is in mint condition, with not even a crease on the tag. I'll cut ya'll a deal, and sell it to anyone that promises to give it a good home for the bargain price of $5,000. That's a deal now! Any takers?

No beanie baby is worth $90k. Someone is full of crap.
Personally, I thought it was hysterical when the bottom fell out of the beanie baby market. Almost literally over night, the fad just died. And all these fat, miserable house wives were stuck with these toys they spent thousands on, thinking they would go up in value. Morons should have stuck with their Elvis plates.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/199...3f4b9f7768
Both of these are listings for the same Beanie Baby. Both are first editions, but one person is asking $16.99 for their beanie baby and another is asking $5,800.00. Which would you buy?
Honestly, there is no such thing as a rare beanie baby. They were all mass produced. Back in the 90s some people were fooled into thinking that they would be valuable one day. Didn't happen. I'm not denying your story Natdog, that's not the norm though. It's like OC said, it's worth what someone else will pay for it.

Was it the Princess Di beanie? The one with the "dropped white stitch" on the body is worth more than the ones that are just plain purple.

It's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
