If you get a good doctor and are satisfied with them you had better keep them .I am so dis-satisfied with my doctor I cant see straight.I just want them to get my medicine regulated where my feet don't hurt from this darn gout.....Its the worse pain ive ever had in my life....I watch what I eat and it doesn't help ...prescribe me predisone and it puts the weight on me...I feel like I am fighting a losing battle.Never get any sleep anymore tired all the time, and I am at the end of my rope so listen if you have a good doctor keep them.....I adore Mary kay Tucker but she refered me to this dr in stateville and they haven't done much for me lately because I am getting worse.Ive learnt more from my gout forum on the internet than from my dr.....That's un called for

Yes that's him. Hes originally from Jupiter Florida. I have read that, and several other things about him. Don't slam him, don't judge him. I have gotten to kno him; even tho I read that in December. This man is extremely quick witted and very intelligent. I consider him a friend as well as a Dr. We all have things in our past. He is very sweet and loves to pick. I highly enjoy my visits and look forward to them. I have had so many terrible mean, uncaring, unbelieving, God-complexed Drs that its ridiculous! All of his patients feel as I do. I don't really believe the accusations, knowing him as I do. He is in a class by his self. He's a good Christian man.

That's an interesting read....I didn't see anything in there about illicit prescribing of pain meds.... It all seemed to be other thibgs related to aspergers which is a mental illness.....evidently he's been compliant....I'm glad he's found a way to be functional with his illness

Its good to know he's legit.... I never thought a pill mill would fly in Wilkes anyway

Some of these comments on here make me cringe.....I know people on pills that sell them and I know people on them that take them for pain.I can almost say that the ones selling are on Medicaid and get them for nothing and looking for a free ride. They need to regulate these pills do pill counts, and find the ones abusing the system...For the ones that really need them My heart goes out to you because of others you are labeled a pill head and it should not be that way...

And its not a pill mill. He also does suboxone treatments and is a Dr of osteopathy. He can crack every bone u have. He's a great installment in Wilkes and I recommend him highly. His office girls are sweet country girls from around here, ur seen in a timely manner, and I have insurance; but I don't think they charge that much. He is such a sweetheart, and a cut up as well. I will be a faithful patient.

His office is called Physicians Wellness and his name is Dr. Raymond Oenbrink and he is the best and most compassionate and understanding Dr I have EVER been to! I have been seeing him since January and absolutely love him! I suffer w scoliosis, 9 bulging discs, generative disc disease and Krohns disease. I have been on pain management for 10 years and for all that time, he treats me like a patient and not a pillhead! Addicts have totally destroyed any kind of trust between a PM Dr and a patient. He listens, cares and understands! I would recommend Dr. O to anyone!

That being said, addicts are not bad people by default.....they are people who suffer from different brain chemistry.... Sure they might have made some bad choices along the way but who in this forum is perfect?

And hear this....

If you have ever, even one time, tried alcohol or taken one hit off of a joint or tried any other drug even once, you have no room to judge anyone, because you didn't know after trying it that one time, if you would be fine ten years later or a homeless destitute addict living under a bridge....some people are cursed with a biochemical makeup where that one time sets off an obsession that they can't control. Addicts need help. Pill mill doctors need to be treated like drug dealers. I only hope this new doctor is legitimate.

Pfft....pain doctor?
This isn't anything like Vegas where you go in pay 60$ for the visit and they dispense the loritabs (yeah i didnt spell that right...you got the idea) right there in the office all behind the counter, and all the patients are women dolled up with serious injuries NOT... Or they write you out the holy trinity of pain meds and instruct you what pharmacy you can ONLY go to....when that happens worry....until then who cares figureout a way to run tthe legal dealers out of your neighborhood and your local junkies

How long have they been open? I can tell you that pill mill drs aren't really interested in providing much primary care..... The one in Charlotte that alot of addicts go to charges between $200-$300 per office visit and does not accept insurance.....cash or cc only.....They will write anyone that pays for a visit a prescription for pain pills without real evidence other than patients subjective data. The dr will refer you to places to get MRIs and xrays so they can get a "current assessment" to make sure you don't have a problem that can be fixed "without long term use of addictive medication." He eventually demands these to continue treatment as many put it off for as many months as they can fearing that when they finally do get the MRI, that it will show they are faking and they will be discontinued. However, my source told me that this a formality, and he will continue writing you monthly prescriptions pretty much regardless of what the tests show, as long as you keep passing your drug tests and keep paying.... Up front.....no credit at this joint. And I know from my days and Injuries sustained in the army that nearly anyone can get an MRI on nearly any part of their body and it will show some sort of abnormality. And since pain is subjective, this "evidence" is enough to justify the prescriptions he continues to write.
...from what I've seen on Nat Geo, this is typical of most pill mills. If this new place in town fits that profile then that's prob what it is..... So far it sounds pretty legit though, which is good for the ppl who have legitimate, some crippling, that have to endure monthly trips to statesville. Besides I don't see a shady practice in Wilkes having a snowball's chance of making it. Only time will tell what this one turns out to be....which brings me back to my original question....how long have they been operating? Sorry if that was a long walk for a short drink of water.

They are a primary care doctor too from what I understand. I would hope they would be legit, would be kind of ironic otherwise, with their close proximity to the old jail. Now that's a thought, WCSD Physician's Wellness. No wonder they couldn't spell.
