I suppose you are thinking about abortion. It might surprise you to know that there are a great many women who are more conservative on that issue than I am.
More men were maimed in Vietnam Nam than in recent conflicts. I believe it was a democrat who got us into that.
I see education as my responsibility. I have given my children more than I have. Not the government. Me.

I was really proud of the country when everyone seemed to pull together after 911. That sense of American identity was too short lived.
I was proud of the Reagan years.
I was proud of Nixon's engagement w/ China. Not so proud of his other activities.
I was proud of The Kennedy years. He'd be a Republican today.
I am proud of Truman.
I am generally proud of all who came before.
