Tyson Foods NO REHIRE POLICY!

If someone can't even get on the list to put in an application the situation is kind of hopeless. My friend had tried for 5 weeks to get on the list, sometimes hitting redial for almost an hour but this week was the first one the quota was not filled before she got through.

it all depends on who you know there. i know people that have worked there gotten fired and still gotten back on two or three times. if you know the woman over human resources she will do what she wants to

The lady from the ESC told my friend that they were informed yesterday of the policy change.

In that situation, I think it's wrong that they will not hire her back.

I have heard lots of people say it is easy to get on at Tyson too, but it most definitely is NOT. Once you even get on the Tyson list, there's a lot of loops to get through to get the job. You even have to pass a physical examination before you can get a job there.

Not saying it's a bad thing. Just that its not as easy as walking in the door and walking out with a job.

I heard that the 'no rehire policy' was a new one. Tyson has s many rules now when it comes to who they will and will not hire. And everyone says that's it's easy to get on down there. Ha!

She had 16 years of seniority when she left 2 years ago to care for a terminally ill family member. I can understand them not wanting to rehire people over and over, but a blanket no rehire policy seems rather harsh.

I'm surprised that they haven't started doing this before now. So many people gets jobs there and works a day or two and quits.

My good friend heard from the ESC this morning that Tyson will not rehire any one who has worked there in the past. It does not matter if you worked a notice and left on good terms.
