Same thing my father said, seemed to work especially if the kid shows aggressiveness towards the social worker. I fully encourage to teach your kids to stand up for themselves and tell them to shove off or else you'll not be leaving other then in a strait jacket. The black lady who tried that dirty stunt in middle school wanted a private interview with me without permission from my father and as soon as I told him what happened getting home he gave both that nasty foster in wilkes central middle and dss a piece of his mind. I promised and swore if they came for me I was going to shoot them. They got their 30 grand and from what I'm told by the lawyer, my father could have very well pressed lawsuit charges against them which I wish he had.

Welcome to my world, DSS around here won't ask how the child feels about the enviroment they feel they're in while all they care about is pocketing money.Explain why the **** abusive parents get more parental rights and they never do a **** thing about while those who actually put effort and pay for what they struggle to afford for their children are treated like actual dog **** and expected too neal on their knee begging for their angel/child from being taken. They need to officially take over this place and fire every employee and review their records and past mistakes and clean whole **** place out and bring actual case workers who care about both the safety and effects this will have not on just a child but family who is ruined due to bad judgement or lies.

A DSS employee told me last Friday there is 219 children in their system as of Friday.Where are these child's Parents???

They treat custodial parents terrible also. I gave up on trying to get any child support from my ex and just raised my child the best way I could. My child is now older and this happened many years ago. I suppose nothing has changed.

Yes, people who expect the other parent to help support the child(ren) they made together are scum and should be treated as such. Makes perfect sense.

I found that you get their attention when you run them around their desk while telling them you are going to whoop their butt. Worked for me anyway.

Sad thing is they get paid to run a business this way. I have a friend that was reporting a father for using his child's SSN to apply for pay day loans. Bad thing is he had gave up all his rights to the child and signed the child over to DSS. He chose drugs rather than his child. DSS did nothing about this at all. Wilkes is just like other DSS agency's around Wilkes. There all the same, there not the for the kids, their just there to collect a pay check.

Don't feel special ,they treat the custodial parents the same way ,TD and SH are something the worst

Not at all ! I was treated like I was dirt every time I walked in. I'm glad I am finished with them !

This is by far the least professional agency in the world. They are rude to say the least and if you are a non custodial parent they treat you like you are scum on the bottom of their shoes. It takes forever to get a call back, and they don't hear you out about your issue, even if THEY are the ones who made a mistake, God forbid. Am I the only one who has experienced this?
