I found something want to return it to owner

If it has about $10,000 in it, yeah, that's mine!

Not even joking, when I was a kid we were at Curtis Mathes one time (making a payment on Dad's $1,000 VCR, but they did let us rent a free movie when we paid!) and Mom saw a purse in the parking lot. She went over to get it, and it had a HUGE amount of cash in it! More than we'd ever seen at the time.

And enough that it was kinda scary.

They pilfered through and found an address book, and found a church listed that was in New York. So Dad called them and they said, yes, they did lose that money! So they sent someone to our house to pick it up, full of thank yous and much hand shaking.

Dad felt really good about himself for helping a church.

I kept my mouth shut, but to this day I'm about 90% sure that we handed money over to the mafia

I mean, really, why would a church from New York be at Curtis Mathes in North Wilkesboro?

I know the lost and found is on here, I posted it. Does anyone know if you can e-mail the mail bag at WKBC and put something on the lost and found. It is a zip up case with lots of fasteners for something. I am sure the owner probably has paid a lot for it. I just want to locate owner. Just let me know what's in it and how I can get it to the proper owner. Thanks
