March 2nd through April 30, 2020, Artist Andrea Baldwin will exhibit her artwork in the Friends of the Library meeting room. Andrea is a graduate of North Wilkes High School class of 2002. Andrea is the coordinator of the New Horizons Art Group. She has artwork held in 7 countries in collections all over the world including Australia, Spain, The United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, France, and the United States.

Andrea is a self taught artist who infuses her paintings with her prayers. Before she paints, she writes prayer, scripture, and praises onto her blank canvases. She believes God told her to use her artistic gift and to become an Artist for a living after her abusive 13 year marriage ended in 2013. At first she ran from the idea because it seemed unstable and she needed to support her two children. However after a few months of resisting the command, she took a leap of faith and asked God to not let her down. Her faithfulness was met and she continues to share her testimony of healing and belief through her Prayerfully painted artwork.”
