Celebrating the Fourth of July

Public Event · by [email protected]

Saturday, Jul. 4, 2020

Towns of North Wilkesboro and Wilkesboro will celebrate patriotism and public servants on the Wilkesboro Ave. bridge by flying the flag from our aerial fire trucks. Residents are invited to cruise by in their cars and salute the flag between the hours of 5:00 – 8:00 pm. It’ll be a miniature reverse parade where the truck is stationary and the viewers go by.
At 8:00 pm North Wilkesboro will hold its first virtual Fourth of July concert. Following an introduction by North Wilkesboro Mayor Robert Johnson, local artists Will Easter and Alex Key will perform on the Downtown North Wilkesboro YouTube page.
