For the month of May, the residents of Westwood Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center will exhibit their artwork in the Friends of the Library Meeting Room at the Wilkes County Public Library. The theme is “Celebrating Life’s Stories” for National Skilled Nursing Care Week, May 13-19, 2018. Each resident has a picture to go along with a story from their lives. Please come visit the library and see this exhibit.

May is National Photo Month and to celebrate we have on exhibit upstairs photographs taken by Sharon Tucker. Sharon is an avid photographer with a love of nature. Photography has been a lifelong hobby. Sharon lives in North Wilkesboro and is the daughter of Reverend Roy and Ruth Deck of Jonesville, NC. She is a member of the Jonesville First United Methodist Church. She is also a resident of a Skilled Nursing facility of Wilkes.
