West Park After Dark A Holiday Treat!

Gather your family and friends for a special holiday drive-in movie showing of "A Charlie Brown Christmas" and "Elf" at West Park in North Wilkesboro!
The event will be held on Saturday, December 12th starting at 7 pm with "A Charlie Brown Christmas" followed by "Elf" at 7:30 pm. Advance registration is required and tickets are $5 per car. Proceeds will benefit a local charity!
This drive-in theater style event will feature three screens around the center lawn. Sound will be streamed through on-site speakers or you can tune into our FM channel on your vehicle's radio!
To reserve your ticket, please select a general admission ticket according to your vehicle size. Large vehicles (trucks, SUVs, and vans) will be placed in designated spaces to provide the best viewing area for all attendees.
The site will open to ticket holders beginning at 6 pm via the West Park Drive entrance at the YMCA Express. (Look for event directional signs!) When you arrive, simply provide your name at check in!
Staff will direct you to your parking space where you can enjoy the event from the comfort of your vehicle!
Advance registration ticketholders should plan to arrive by 6:50 pm to secure a prime parking space. Any spaces remaining after 6:50 pm will open to those on stand-by. Tickets for stand-by attendees will be available via EventBrite on the day of the event at $5 per car.
Please read the "Event Guidelines" provided below for additional information about steps that we are taking to ensure a safe, healthy, and enjoyable event for attendees and staff.
The event is sponsored by The Health Foundation, Town of North Wilkesboro, Town of Wilkesboro, and the Wilkesboro Tourism Development Authority.
Event Guidelines:
• Unless health & safety guidelines change, you must remain in your vehicle at all times.
• Parking lot opens at 6 pm, movie will begin at 7 pm. Ticketholders must plan to arrive no later than 6:50 pm to secure their space.
• For everyone’s safety, we will be limiting interaction between attendees and the staff as much as possible. The only interaction will be briefly at check-in and you will remain in your vehicle.
• Staff will be practicing all health and safety guidelines that are recommended at the time of the event.
• We reserve the right to park tall vehicles (large SUVs, trucks, and vans) in spots that will help preserve the best possible sightlines for all vehicles. We encourage you to stay in your vehicle, should you arrive in a pickup truck and plan to sit in the rear we will park you in designated rows. RVs and campers are not allowed.
• When entering and exiting the venue, please exercise caution for staff and volunteers.
• Sound will be broadcast through on-site speakers as well as available via an FM channel on your vehicle's radio or portable device so that you can remain inside your vehicle at all times. Radios cycle off in some vehicles. If you find that your battery may become too drained during the event, please plan to bring a portable battery powered radio.
• If possible, the running of vehicles during the event is discouraged.
• Vehicle lights must be turned off during the event and please make sure your windshield is clean prior to arriving.
• Restrooms will be available for emergencies. Lines will be marked to maintain a 6 ft. distance.
• There will be no concessions available, however you are allowed to bring your own.
• The West Park campus is alcohol and tobacco-free.
• Carry In-Carry Out – Please keep the area as pristine as you found it by taking any trash with you.
• Please be respectful to everyone around you.
