There was a President of Color who waded into racially charged situations with his considerable experience and wisdom only to be proven premature in his judgment many times. It happens. Fortunately, presidents don't sentence offenders, though they occasionally commute said sentences.

Mooron did'nt honor the "central park 5" even after they were "totally" exonerated after DNA evidence proved none of them had ANYTHING to do with that horrific crime did he, or did we all just miss it ?Full page newspaper ad urging them to be executed ? Yeah..A real decent human being...
