In the beginning the universe was set into motion. Karma(cause and effect) has keep it going every since. The witch/magician thinks they can effect karma by their will. They believe if they think the right thoughts and strong enough will, they can change reality to benefit themselves or others. Christians think they can do it by prayer. It really is not that much of a difference.

You read your bible to find answers, why shouldn't someone be allowed to use cards for the same reason? I have had experience with the tarot, I don't understand them but they do give answers. I personally think it is ESP and has nothing to do with any gods.

Your religion is a failure, give someone else a chance. You think the Devil is evil just because someone keeps saying so. Your God has killed billions but you can't show me one case where the Devil has killed anyone. Your God sends you to hades if you don't do as he says, the Devil says chose for yourself. Your God says punish yourself, the Devil says enjoy life. It don't seem to me that your God is all that good.
