Senate Republicans released an interim report on Wednesday concluding that Hunter Biden's past work with Ukrainian gas company Burisma was "problematic" and "interfered" with the execution of U.S.-Ukraine policy, reupping similar claims about Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden's son weeks out from the 2020 election.

Biden said at the news conference that the U.S. has sent $600 million worth of "sophisticated equipment, defensive equipment," to Ukraine's government. That presumably includes $200 million worth of gear pledged last month.

. "The first of several shipments for Ukrainian Armed Forces, totaling $200 million, arrived in Kyiv on January 22, yesterday — and more will arrive in the weeks to come."

f*xxy, Trump kicked our allies to the gutter as one of his first acts after he took office, and he smoozed Kim Jung Oon and Putin 'til he had his nose so far up their arses he could barely breathe.

Putin, Xi Jinping, Kim Jong-Un, and Ebrahim Raisi of Iran ALL saw how Biden handled Afghanistan and are chomping at the bit to get a piece of the weakness of our Trojan Horse. All of our allies have lost faith in America as a supporting partner. That was a mistake our country will not correct in any of our lifetimes

Trump was not only weak but self serving, he has never had the good of our nation at heart.

It seems that many have already forgotten that Russia invaded Ukraine in 2014, and annexed Crimea. They've been supporting pro-Russian militias and separatists in eastern Ukraine ever since. It's never stopped. Now you're whining about Biden being weak? What did Trump or Obama do about the problem? Next to nothing.

All you self made pundits coming up with your answers to the Ukraine situation but no one looks at the inevitable. Biden is too wishy/washy to take a firm stance against Russia and Trump is Putin's buddy, so this is how it is going and will be going: Russia already has a strong military presence in Belarus and Kazakhstan, they will create a situation providing them with a pretext to invade Ukraine and all the USA and the NATO nations will do is make a lot of noise. From there they will go on to take the Baltic States and after that Poland. From then on we will all have to dance to their tune.

All because one evil selfish individual did not state loud and clear at Helsinki: "Your country and my country are enemies until you mend your ways."

The U.S. State Department has ordered the evacuation of American citizens in Ukraine amid the threat of Russian military action.

You're not answering the question. Again, if you preemptively punish them whats to stop them from invading? They have nothing to lose.

Republicans stand for fascism. We made a mistake after WWII. We left to many fascists alive.

Okay, so if we sanction Russia before they invade what incentive do they have not to invade?

Wait till Russia invades then you think Russia's going to leave ?

Okay, so if we sanction Russia before they invade what incentive do they have not to invade?

Some quotes below:

"The Biden administration and many Democrats oppose the Cruz sanctions measure. They argue it weakens leverage over Russia and is needlessly divisive toward Germany at a time when Berlin's support is seen as key in presenting a united transatlantic front in talks with Moscow. The White House and Democrats also argue it is unhelpful in constructing a multilateral response with European partners to any possible Russian aggression against Ukraine."

Here's Notable Democrat Rand Paul's take on Ted's bill

"I've asked the sponsor of these sanctions what he wants Russia to do, what behavior he wants Russia to change. The sanctions supporters respond that no behavior changes will suffice. They just want Russia to be unable to ship natural gas to Germany.

"If Nord Stream II sanctions were really about changing Russian policy or deterring aggression, then NATO, including Germany, could threaten sanctions if Russia invades Ukraine. Now that threat of sanctions, with Germany as an ally, might actually have deterring value.
