He was making a tackle and his cleat got hung up and his ankle gave away. He broke two bones in his leg. I don't remember his name and had almost forgotten the Bengals being in a Super Bowl.

Hey, does anyone remember the leg injury the guy for the Bengals suffered in the Super Bowl? It was against the Niners. He was a tackle or end, and his leg snapped pretty badly. I remember watching that live, too, and wondering what I had just seen.
Or, was it McGahee at Miami with the knee injury? In a bowl game...that was rough.

Law, me too. I did hate those Giants teams, but I hated Joe worse, and as time went on, and his blithering idiocy was forced upon us by ESPN for 20+ years, I grew to love the video more and more.
Today, it is a national treasure.

The Lombardi regime's yellow helmets, yep. Even keep the feathers.
Personally, I would rename them "The Broken Legs" and have picture of a pain'd Joe Theismann on the helmet, but that's the sadist in me.

You could basically keep the old "R" helmet intact as the primary logo if you went to Red Tails.

Rename them the "Red Tails", keep the "R" logo for the helmet, keep the colors, make George Preston Marshall turn over in his racist grave, and everyone wins.

There's no Washington gear on their website, at least on Thursday night.
This is either because of Washington's racist team name or the fact Washington hasn't actually played professional football in over a decade.
