A man accused of stabbing two teenagers at New York City's Grand Central Terminal on Christmas Day has been released back onto the streets.

The alleged assailant, Steven Hutcherson, 36, of the Bronx, allegedly attacked two teenage girls at the Tartinery in the Grand Central Dining Concourse on Monday after arguing with restaurant staff over sitting in the establishment's area. According to reports, he remarked that the two teen girls, 14 and 16, were allowed to sit there, ultimately pulling out a knife and stabbing them - one in the thigh and the other in the back, the latter of whom was treated for a collapsed lung at Bellevue Hospital.

The man allegedly shouted racist remarks as well. Law enforcement sources told the New York Post at the time that the man yelled, "I want all the white people dead," and "I want to sit next to the crackers."

Peeping Tom pervert Jamil Brown turns out to be United States Space Force Major.

A father is outraged after his daughter found a hidden camera in a room she was renting. "She looks up and there's an odd smoke detector right above her bed and there's another smoke detector over by the door," Farrell added. "So she looks even more closely. She gets up close to it. She sees that it's not a normal smoke detector. She takes a picture of it. She goes online on Amazon and finds the same exact model, which is a spy cam infrared night vision, all of this stuff."

Colorado Springs Police issued a summons for Jamil Brown for Criminal Invasion of Privacy. Criminal Invasion of Privacy is a Class 2 Misdemeanor that is punishable by a fine.

"We can confirm Maj. Jamil Brown is assigned to U.S. Space Command. We are aware of the allegations against Maj. Brown and will support local civilian authorities in any investigation," said a U.S. Space Command spokesperson.

Inside Edition reports the pervert has plead guilty and must now register as a sex offender.

Georgia County Commissioner Found Passed Out Drunk in the Street and Unruly: Shocking Incident Caught on Body Cam

Clayton County Board of Commissioners Vice Chair Felicia Franklin was found passed out on a sidewalk outside a sports bar, leading to her removal from her role as Vice Chair. Body cam footage from the September incident, which has just been released, shows a disturbing scene where Franklin becomes unruly and abusive towards medics and police officers.

The incident occurred on September 29, when police discovered Franklin outside the 404 Sports Bar and Grill in Morrow, Georgia. The body cam footage shows Franklin screaming, crying, and at one point, hurling abuse at emergency staff. Due to her increasingly violent behavior, she had to be restrained in the ambulance and later at the hospital.

No worries, black voters can be quite forgiving in instances like this.

Suspect who shot Robeson County deputies was out on bond for murder; judge releases statement

Frustrations are running high in a Robeson County community after it was revealed that the suspect who shot two Robeson County deputies was out on bond for murder.
Robeson County Sheriff Burnis Wilkins said the deputies attempted to serve a warrant to 20-year-old Shawn Tobin Locklear Jr. for violating the terms of his pre-trial release. He was out on bond after being charged with the murder of Joshua Hunt in November 2022. Deputy Jonathan Walters and Deputy Kaelin Locklear were shot during the shootout with Shawn Locklear.
For a murder suspect to be out roaming the streets of our county under the pretense of being on Pre-trial release is a travesty. District Attorney Matt Scott and his office, along with pre-trial representatives, were against his release, and somehow, it still occurred. This man should have been in jail," Wilkins said.

WMBF's news partner, WRAL in Raleigh, received a statement from District Court Judge Angelica McIntyre who signed off on Shawn Locklear's bond and the conditions of his pre-trial release. She explained why he was given bond in the murder case.

"Bonds are determined by many factors, including the evidence that is presented in court by the officers, witness cooperation, if a felony report has been provided to the District Attorney's Office, and the particular facts of every case. I feel the public's frustration and the Sheriff's frustration at the crime problem in Robeson County. My judicial record shows that I have set some of the highest bonds ever set in Robeson County based on the evidence before me and consistent with the law," McIntyre said in a statement.

She also noted that she's grateful that a new North Carolina law went into effect on Oct. 1 that allows district court judges additional authority to deny bond to violent and repeat offenders as well as those on pretrial release who commit a new offense.

As for the deputies, Wilkins and his command staff visited them on Wednesday morning at Cape Fear Medical Center. They said the two are alert, talking and in good spirits. They are also expected to make a full recovery.

Day care workers encouraged toddlers to fight each other, South Carolina deputies say

Two childcare workers have been arrested after the Newberry County Sheriff's Office said they allowed children to beat up other children at a daycare facility.
Both employees have been fired from their jobs and turned themselves on multiple charges on Thursday morning at the Newberry County Detention Center.

Sheriff Lee Foster said the daycare reported the issue to law enforcement and has been fully cooperating.

"I have no idea what the two daycare workers were thinking of that was just abhorrent behavior," Foster said. "I just can't imagine why you would do this."

The claims involved 27-year-old Ericka Sherai Jones and 56-year-old Serena Caldwell. Both were in court today for a bond hearing, facing multiple counts, including contributing to the delinquency of a minor and unlawful conduct toward a child.

Nashville college freshman Jillian Ludwig dies after being hit by a stray bullet at a local park

The alleged gunman, Shaquille Taylor, had previously been released for incompetence to stand trial in a separate shooting. Taylor, 29, was quickly identified as a suspect and taken into custody. Police said the gunfire came from a public housing unit across the street from the park and that Taylor was allegedly shooting at a car when a stray bullet struck Ludwig.

News of Ludwig's death came one day after Nashville District Attorney General Glenn Funk called on the Tennessee Legislature to make it easier to commit someone to a mental institution. Taylor had been criminally charged multiple times in the past, including in 2021 when he was charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon.

Authorities said he and another man allegedly shot at a woman while she was driving with her two children. At least two bullets hit the vehicle. The charges were ultimately dismissed earlier this year and Taylor was released after court-appointed doctors testified that he was incompetent to stand trial. Under federal and state law, mentally incompetent defendants cannot be prosecuted.

NC man dies in Mexico after uprooting life for alleged romance scam

A North Carolina man's family is searching for answers and justice after he died in Mexico months after moving there for what his family says was a romance scam.

I recall a similar case where a guy was lured to Brazil by a woman, fleeced for all he had and then murdered by the woman and her real boyfriend. They were caught but Brazilian courts gave them almost no punishment for the deed.
