You left out that its for asylum seekers, not just any border crossing. And that it was only for "non-Mexican" countries. It basically had asylum seekers put into pretty horrible situations in Mexico while they await hearings on their status to seek asylum here. Now instead of being in Mexico, they are allowed to be in asylum detention centers in USA. Your interpretation is exactly what I figured it was....not exactly as straightforward as you had in your head. But that's okay, we can always learn.

Skeptic, yes many people people have said the border is Biden's fault and they have gone a step further to blame Kamala as well. Just wanted to answer that plainly for you. Where did I see this you may ask? It's the tone of the narrative. Even Edward "Snake" Cruz went to the border to try to play some sort of weird crocadile dundee or whatever he was doing, to try to make it seem like its current administration fault. The living conditions also changed narrative (which living conditions at border haven't changed, just Fox News tone). The border is an issue that won't be solved in 6 month or even 4 years. It will take many administrations doing something consistent. These people leave their homes for a reason and it's not because they want to be America's boogeyman.
