also i think the horse was simply a nod to Gandalf's horse in LOTR.

sorry....bran was the perfect choice because of everything Tyrion said. He's more than just a flesh-covered hard drive of human history. He also has empathy and a good nature, so he can use that infinite memory not just for recalling stories and memories, but also to extract wisdom from historical mistakes and triumphs that no one else can do cuz no one else can really "see" the mistakes of the past with as much clarity as he can.

But couldn't Bran have sent a crow or something? That would be a whole lot cheaper and easier than spending years on a ship

And it looked like they rebuilt the Wall after the dragon knocked it all down

What happened to the horse that Arya got on at the end of the 5th episode? It seemed important then it just disappeared

Why did the Dothraki's swords have to catch on fire in the big war with the White Walkers? That didn't seem to do much of anything

I thought they got wiped out in that first attack anyway

Why didn't Jamie and Cercei just move like 20 feet to the left when the ceiling caved in? That arch would have saved them. They teach us that in kindergarten

Jon killed their queen with no witnesses and no body, just a blood spot that was probably cooked by the dragon burning down the throne. I guess he came out and confessed?

Dany had a whole no prisoners policy, so why didn't Gray Worm kill Tyrion and Jon immediately?

And then instead of his people fighting the Dothraki and Unsullied to save him he just went as a prisoner while Gray Worm spent some time sending ravens to all of his friends to come and talk about it?

After Dany was killed, why were the Dothraki even hanging around? The Unsullied were promised land but what were the Dothraki getting out of it?

That's so true!!!!!! The last season made the whole series feel pointless
Not really.

Why did Arya even bother learning how to put on other people's faces if she didn't use it?

I'm sure she'll use her lesson's the farther west she travels

Why did Bran bother becoming the 3 Eyed Raven when it didn't seem to help anything?

Not yet, but it will, patience

What's the point of the Wall or the Watch, if there aren't any more White Walkers and they're all good with the Wildlings now?

did you not notice that the Wildlings and Jon both left the wall and the watch behind.

When Sansa declared that she was going to be her own queen and stay separate, why didn't the others do the same thing?

could be a plot twist to a new series or it's hard for some of those leaders to be independent of others, their safety comes in numbers.

Especially the Greyjoy woman? Wasn't secession the whole problem in the beginning of the series, anyway?

for her it was...but it may not be in the future for the Iron Islands

If Arya wanted to know what's west, why didn't she just ask Bran?

Bran see's the past, not always the future...that was the Red Witchs call.
