I agree that it would just be trashed the next day. Free things are never appreciated. Maybe they should get apartment tenants to clean it up. Assign an apartment number and they keep it cleaned up for a week. I don't but they need to do something. It's bad down there and I know its a bad neighborhood but they can do better.

If it was cleaned up the next day it would be trashed again.

So, how much trash did you pick up?

So I took my child to the playground across from Headstart last weekend because she has never got to play on a merry-go-round and that was the only one I knew of. So we drive down past the apartments and park and the first thing you notice is trash EVERYWHERE. This is a major concern! So we get out and my daughter is going down the little hill to the playground and there is a needle near the sliding pole on the playground! So at this point im ready to leave but she insists on the merry-go-round. So I spin her several rounds and we walk down to the little creek right next to the playground. There was a stroller, toys, chairs, an old bicycle, trash, and all kinds of stuff in and around the creek. I know this is a low income and rough community but what I saw was beyond unacceptable! Someone needs to clean up around there! I mean does the apartment manager not notice these things and think to hire someone to clean up?
