Kayla, there have been several studies that show that a Keto diet has no more benefit than just cutting calories. In fact, it can cause long term problems (like gluten intolerance, even Crohn's disease).

So don't hurt yourself trying to find keto-friendly recipes, just cut your overall calories. Try eating a normal diet, but leave 10% of the portion on your plate. After awhile you'll plateau and stop losing weight, so if you're still not where you want to be then cut another 10%. And so on until you get to a healthy weight.

Back when I was doing keto I got burnt out on eggs too. For the first month I had a western omelet with salsa and sour cream every morning. The month after that I changed them up a bit by cooking them different ways, adding different meats, veggies, and cheese. That made them a little more tolerable but I could not handle any more eggs. So I did some research and found Keto Chow shake mix online. It tastes great, fills you up, and saves you time in the mornings. You mix it in a blender bottle along with some water and heavy whipping cream. The chocolate peanut butter was my favorite flavor. If you do decide to try it just make sure you shake it well and don't use cheap whipping cream. https://shop.ketochow.xyz/#

Just thought of another way to spice up eggs... have you ever had a Philly cheese steak omelette? It's easy to make, just get the steak strips from freezer section, add bell peppers and onions and mushrooms and put a little mayonnaise and provolone cheese on it when you fold it. It's one of my husband's favorites and all those ingredients are low-carb

Also Intermittent fasting is a very popular fad right now. You could just have a coffee in the morning and only eat between the hours of 11am-7pm.

I think everyone is on this keto diet, I hear lots of women (and some men too) talking about it constantly!

But I think basically eggs are your main option for breakfast. You can try to get creative with them and add different meats on different days. Think bacon on Monday, sausage on Tuesday, a small steak on Wednesday, etc.

But a breakfast casserole with veggies is probably healthiest. Think like a crustless quiche. You can add spinach or broccoli, and cheese.

If you like bell peppers, try a recipe for stuffed bell peppers. Most are already low carb and include sausage and cheese.

Or you could have a handful of nuts and a Greek yogurt (just check lable and make sure it doesn't have added sugars.) Or a cheese stick.

Any suggestions for a keto friendly breakfast? I'm getting pretty tired of eggs every morning
