If they said that, they are lying. However, I doubt they actually said that. It is hard to tell what is going on because of all the trumpette lies.

Poor must not eat potato chips either according to Biden spokesman. It is a good thing because the rich are only paying an additional 20%. And my favorite drink just went up 10%. But I am sure that low income people do not drink anything but water. Biden s guy might be right. Inflation will not hurt the lower income people.

They do not use refrigerators or washers and dryers either. They have it made, don't they?

Well I guess the lower income people do not use heat pumps and furnaces. I heard that their costs are up 30%. So for the ones that still heat with wood do not have to worry. I guess is what this stupid person meant.

But everyone eats. But maybe the lower income people eat from their gardens and their foods they canned. They will not be touched by inflation. That is the first good news coming from Biden's administration. Lower income groups will not be hurt by inflation. But how about toilet tissue. Oh crap! And there is no Sears catalog anymore.

How about gas? I guess lower income groups still use horses, and mules. Great news for them. No increase there. But what does the horse eat? Well, now they are SOL on that because hay and feed has increased too. Guess the horse will die of hunger.

Price of diapers have sky rocketed due to shortages, but that's just a rich person's problem right?

And then they pay and extra $20 a week on gas and now the government is saying to expect winter heating bills to be up 53% over last year. It's a non stop onslaught on the low class. The high class could give a d**n about higher prices.

I don't think it was sarcasm. I think elitist really don't understand how poor people live. Like the guy saying a carton of eggs is only $.28 higher a carton. That's fine if you are only buying a carton of eggs. But if it's a quarter for eggs and $.30 for bread and $.50 here and there that adds up. If you have a family and your are buying 100 items a week that averages $.30 higher per item. That's $30. A lot of people don't have an extra $30.

I think that you're overlooking the sarcasm in his tweet, skeptic.

The actual quote that Biden's Chief of Staff retweeted:

Most of the economic problems we're facing (inflation, supply chains, etc.) are high class problems. We wouldn't have had them if the unemployment rate was still 10 percent. We would instead have had a much worse problem.

Translation: if we just keep the peons broke then they would be worried about buying anything and there would be no demand and that would wipe out inflation.

That's so much worse. It sounds like a sound bite straight out of the Hunger Games.

One of the top replies (from someone else, not Furman or Klain):

Yeah, inflation really effects very few few people in any real way. The most expensive dozen eggs at my grocery, e.g., are Organic and cost $4.79. A 6% inflation rate would raise the cost by $0.28. Even if you buy a dozen a week, you'll pay a quarter more a week.

Are you saying that this is not correct?

According to Biden's chief of staff inflation is only affecting the high class right now. These people are clueless. They don't even understand poor people problems. But they claim to know how to fix them.
