I have a good understanding of this. I have been thinking about selling my home, buying a boat and moving to the coast. I don't have much reason to stay here except family. My happiest times were when I had a boat on Lake Murry, SC.

Can we really trust our police? They are trained to lie and, as you know, the cops go after the low hanging fruit. They could be lying and just packing the murders off on other blacks.
I'm sure that does happen, just as much as the other way around (black cops killing white kids). But it's highly unlikely to be statistically relevant. There's no way that a high number of those would be covered up by a group of people.
But we have to look at the facts and statistics, and make decisions based on the information we have. You can't make up facts and assume they're correct... that's what the GOP does, and you see where that gets them!

That's not according to me, it's according to each states' Depts of Justice.

Actually, is it? In one South American country the cops were doing drive=bys and killing street kids. Can we really trust our police? They are trained to lie and, as you know, the cops go after the low hanging fruit. They could be lying and just packing the murders off on other blacks.

Kind of, yes.
Historically, a lot of these cities were created when white people forced black people to live there. Jobs didn't follow, colleges didn't follow, so poverty and drugs set in.
Now there's not the same racist stigma, but jobs still don't want to be somewhere with low education and high crime. So the problem never went away.
While they can move away now, we all know how hard it is to leave your friends and family... not just emotionally, but financially. So it becomes an ever growing problem with no real solution.
And when racists continue to argue that the problem is racial instead of recognizing the history and what made it get to that point, then they refuse to find any solution that might actually help. Which, of course, just makes it all worse.
I don't have a solution, either. But I can look at statistics and see that Democratic policies obviously help better than Republican policies. You can't deny decades worth of statistics

What's really interesting, too, is that white men kill almost as many white women as they do white men! While black men rarely kill women. Which means that a lot of the black-on-black crime is fight related, while a lot of the white-on-white crime is rape or domestic violence.

So according to your reasoning a poor Republican county like ours should have a high homicide rate. LOL
No, it's the opposite. The higher homicide rate happens when you have a mix of rich and poor with little to no middle class in between.
