Do yourself a favor and ask the Lord to reveal his word to you. Don't just assume something about God's word on your own. The Holy Spirit is our teacher, he will teach you things you just never saw in the word before.

Anything quoted from Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John are technically just rephrased stories in the Bible. I never ubderstood why there had to be 4 narratives on the same subject. It makes it confusing to study at any age. And questions how many books are ommitted that could provide a clearer insight into the Christ, his teachings and the start of the Christian Church, movement what ever you care to call it.

Jesus didn't want Mary to touch him because it wasn't a touch in a,way one figures. But, to cling to is more accurate. Mary was saddened at her loss of the Christ. He is spirit was asking her to follow by faith.

This is true, the believers would have to walk by Faith now as all that came later would. Jesus would not be with us in person, he would be at the Father's right hand making intercession for us, and the Holy Spirit would be in us to teach, and comfort while we are here.

John 20: 17
I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

Acts 17:27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:

Ephesians 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

Quit standing afar off, and come to him, he has life for you.

Here is a verse in Luke,

Luke 2:46 And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.

Matthew 12:40 For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.

The number Three to an Israelite was very familiar to them, all through their recorded scripture the number three was used.

Jesus was talking to Israelite when he told them this, they had no problem understanding what he said.
A Gentile that is not familiar with this and also is trying to discredit it will try to pick it apart to try to justify themselves.

One thing you are not taking into consideration Jesus sacrifice was a three day event, that sacrifice had to be offered to God for the sins of the world and accepted by God. That whole event took three full days to accomplish His death, burial, the resurrection, the presentation, and acceptance by God the Father of his sacrifice.

Michael, if you reject the Lord Jesus death, burial, and resurrection on the third day victorious over death, h***,

and the grave. How do you think that your keeping the Sabbath the seventh day will be accepted by the same God that told you to accept the third day finished sacrifice of the Lord Jesus that he himself offered up to his Father for all mankind?
______
A complete day is 12 hour day light and 12 hours of darkness = 24 hours. Jesus said 3 nights and 3 day. Christianity says Good Friday before sunset and was risen before Sunrise Sunday. Not 3 Days!!! Your CHRISTIAN RELIGION is a Lie..
Jesus was Crucified on Wednesday before Sunset. Biblical. Read The Good News and Stop letting Satan still your Soul. Jesus is The Savior not Satan's CHRISTIAN RELIGION.

A lot of the commentaries do say what you repeated about the reason for not touching him at this time. If you will do a Bible search on the third day, and read in the book of Leviticus about the sacrifice that was offered to God for sin offerings and what had to be done with that offering after the third day. It could not be touched or it would be rejected by God. One verse in the book of Numbers tells that if the offering on the third day was used to purify the one that offered it, then the seventh day or Sabbath will also be clean. but if he purify not himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean. This tells us that if we refuse the third day sacrifice then our sabbath day offering will be unclean also. Jesus is the Lamb of God that was sacrificed for our redemption and raised the Third day, see that you do not reject him because there remains no other sacrifice for sin.

Numbers 19:12 He shall purify himself with it on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean: but if he purify not himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.

He stays around for 40 days before ascending into heaven for the final time anyone will see him till his second coming. The significance of the #3 is a twist on the numerology often found in the bible. 40, 3, 7, 12. Please in detail explain that.

One question, no mention of him asending yet. He kinda, hangs around and appears as needed. Like behind locked doors where all his diciples are gathered a good amount of time has passed say maybe 8 days,to 2 weeks. He seeks Thomas who does not believe like everyone else. And offers him to actually touch him. (according to John 20 or 21) he hadn't ascended yet. So, why the difference between Mary and Thomas?

And why is he phyically healed from the beatings he sustained but has the holes and piercing? Why does that need to be a validation to his disciples in order for them to believe.

Why do you think that Jesus told Mary Magdalene to not touch him soon after he had risen from the grave on the third day?

John 20:

16Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.

17Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

Numbers 19:12 He shall purify himself with it on the third day, and on the seventh day he shall be clean: but if he purify not himself the third day, then the seventh day he shall not be clean.

If any man refuse what the Lamb of God did for him on the third day, The seventh day shall be unclean to him.
