Beeble research all their fines & wrong doing again. Ya think they care?? If'in not mistaken, the USDA emblem is on the wrapping material & well possibly label also. If'in not, they would have to hire millions & millions to stamp packages....

@ marie Just a reminder, people think they get great bargains at the Tyson chicken store. All facilities have them nearby. It's purpose is to get rid of out dated product. The labels may show a fresh date on them, yet anyone can put a different label on anything.Who would know the difference??
you could be right, but if caught doing it, their inspection would be withdrawn and they could not sell a single pack. I don't know if you can sell chicken without the USDA logo.

You people think it is only Tyson. Have I got news for you, most/many USDA facilities are going this route. Get over it, it is a fact of life and the rumor mongers need to find something else to talk about.

The disinfecting solution I listed would be 0.02% hypochlorite which is 200 parts per million. Never mix bleach with ANYTHING except water. Deadly chlorine gas will be released if bleach is mixed stronger or with ANY other chemicals such as ammonia or vinegar. You're Welcome.

The glass, ceramic, metal or other surfaces that can withstand 180° F water or higher for several minutes may be sterilized in that manner in lieu of the chlorine bleach.

People, what you want is 1 tablespoon of 5.25% sodium hypochlorite Chlorine Bleach per gallon of water. Clean all surfaces and utensils that the raw chicken or egg has contaminated with a sanitary sponge dipped in the solution and wait about 5 minutes before rinsing. Throw the sponge in trash and wash your hands and wrists with soap and water as hot as you can stand for at least 20 seconds before touching anything else. You're Welcome.

If it was not for chickens we would not have the phrase describing small amounts of money offered for something.

He time has come to publicly shame people who consume chicken.
Chickens are among our most majestic feathered friends.
There are countless stories to be told of chickens who have save human lives. In many cases, noble chickens have laid down their lives for their human counterparts.
Chickens were there for the most epic moments of our history. It was a chicken who composed Neil Armstrong’s famous statement from the lunar surface. Chickens helped organize Woodstock.
It is unconscionable what Tyson is doing to these phenomenal phrends of humanity. They stun them into a stupor, cut their heds off, semiboil them to rip the plumage from their beautiful bodies. They remove the hearts from their bodies, cut them into pieces and entomb them in environmentally unfriendly plastics. They brazenly parade these glorious birds across the country to be fried, boiled, baked or grilled for your gastronomic pleasure.
So heinous is their activity that other suicidal animals aspire to have it said “Tastes Like Chicken”.
Tyson Foods, your day is up. You have been exposed. No longer will we collude with you to the doom of our feathered friends.
Oh, and know this egg eaters, we are coming for you next. This eggbortion must end.

Of course anti, no foreign countries have USDA inspectors, unless it is imported from such on arrival which would be limited.. Yet i think the US has enough producers & processors to supply this country. Yet again, i consume very little poultry for that reason alone. Also Tyson, just in Wilkesboro last i heard processes around 2.4 million birds weekly in 6 work days, not counting the cooked division out put...

Could we use some of the billions the upper management "earns" to inspect every chicken several times and still get 10 nuggets for $1?

It's all about the money. And today, Tyson has to compete with chicken grown in other countries that have no USDA inspections.
Are you willing to pay $4-5 a pound for chicken that's currently $2.89, or would you buy chicken from Mexico that's less than $2 a pound? That's what Tyson has to ask themselves when they make these decisions.
