So is "border control" not a Conservative policy? Or are you saying that Reagan and Bush Sr were liberal?
Or is it that you don't have ideology of your own, and you just believe what the Republican party tells you to believe?

Ironically, Reagan and Bush Sr both campaigned on open borders between the US and Mexico:
They were also the originators of NAFTA... you know, free trade between the US, Mexico, and Canada:

That's some liberal logic right there. Americans: stay home it's best for everyone. Everyone in a country south of us: come on over, walk thousands of miles and come into contact with untold numbers of people we will let you right in and send you and your covid all over our country. If it sounds crazy that's because it is.
