You didn't actually read what I said, did you? You just can't understand the economy of this, can you? The government and the wealthy are going to make sure you pay for the poor to live. They don't care anything about you or the poor. They just don't want the poor to revolt and burn their house down. Which means, you are going to pay just like you are going to pay for the wall.

I give my money and my time to charities that help the poor. My only requirement is that most if not all the money has to be provided directly to those who need it, not to overhead of the charity.

If I would give that same money to the Federal government half if not more would go to salaries and expenses.

So if you really want to help those in need, cut taxes so we can do more

Either you pay in taxes or you pay in wages. No government can with stand 40% of their people without food, shelter or healthcare. That 40% will revolt.
