Come and meet our Poet Laureate and enjoy some light refreshments!

Jaki Shelton Green is the ninth Poet Laureate of North Carolina. She is also the first African American and third woman to be appointed as the Poet Laureate. She has published several collections of poetry and has received numerous awards.
