Completely understandable. But glad you're okay.
Viruses are tricky and add in the complexity of the human body and you got a recipe for "sometimes it just happens."

I'm not in the medical field but having the vaccine and also wearing a mask I somehow caught coronavirus twice. My doctor said it just happens to some people. I'm like really it just happens? It's really disheartening to be honest how it just happens. It's so dang confusing when you're doing what the CDC says and you end up with a stupid virus twice.

Seriously!! The double think amazes me, Billy...
"Masks don't work, the fact that people wore masks and the flu went away... somehow... proves... it...?"

"The flu disappeared" argument is the craziest thing to me. Like, 2020 had super low flu numbers because so many more people were wearing masks and social distancing. That seems so incredibly obvious to me.

I guess the flu just up and left us. Heard it was jealous of Covid so it took a year off. Don't worry, it will be back soon.

PCR is known for a high incidence of false positives.
Whaaa???
... the study showed that the rapid antigen test was high in sensitivity (ability to identify people for whom the PCR test would detect a SARS-CoV-2 infection) at 92.7% for all participants and specificity (ability to identify people for whom the PCR test would not detect a SARS-CoV-2 infection) at 98% for all participants. The sensitivity was similar for symptomatic (92.3%) and asymptomatic (92.6%) cases. The study also determined, Siddiqui says, that the negative predictive value (NPV the probability that a person who tests negative has not been infected with SARS-CoV-2, as PCR would show) was high for both symptomatic (99.2%) and asymptomatic (99.7) young people. https://www.hopkinsmedicine...dolescents
The PCR test is by far the most accurate. The rapid tests can give false negatives, though, but that's usually because the person doing it didn't do it right.

Wilkes recorded 132 COVID cases for Thursday (yesterday). Be careful out there.
