I've done explain this several times but I don't mind doing it again. The Lord God Spoke directly to the Israelites. Then the people ran to MOSES and said. Don't allow God to speak to us no more. But WE THE ISRAELITES will do whatever you command. So Moses became the Go between God and the Israelites. The Covenant of God. Is THE TEN COMMANDMENTS. Ok???? Moses incorporated The Covenant of God into His LAWS. Just like MOSES took the Covenant God made with Abraham and incorporated it ( circumcision) into His LAWS.
Where was The Covenant placed? In the Ark of the Covenant. Moses laws were place outside. Read the BIBLE.
The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom of God is preached, and every man presseth into it.
