I don't make that much. Cost of living adjustments and Western NC is low living expenses. I make $98,000 year and Work an average of 4 hours a day.
I don't make the rules so don't blame me. Just being honest

As a person who works for the Federal Govt, I agree 100%
Almost all my coworkers are useless. We could do without 50%. Myself included
I worked 2 hours today but got paid for 9.5

The average salary of a federal employee is $94,430 a year.
There are roughly 2,950,000 federal employees.
That means in salaries alone, pre-benefits $278,568,500,000.
Add just the HC plans, and that's an additional $22,532,100,000.
I believe you could cut the federal government (non military) in 1/2 and still get the same below average service.
You could save over 1,200,000,000,000 in 4 years just dumping dead weight.
