Have you ever had that awkward moment where you offer to give an older person your seat and they refuse to sit down? You are left standing with an empty seat right there. So inconsiderate.

Kids do know how to have a conversation...they do go to school ya know 🙄 The people at DD just want to talk about people and gossip. It’s as simple as that. That is a business and if they can’t fillow the rules they need to leave. It’s the same for everyone young and old.

Yes, go sit with those people taking up space in a business without purchasing anything. Because they are old and white it is just fine. Any other shade or age and they should be arrested.

Why don't some of you kids go over and sit down with them. Just watch and listen, learn what they are doing. It is called "vocal" conversation. That is the way people use to communicate. Its really not hard to learn and after you get use to it and learn how to pronounce words correctly you might just enjoy it. Try it sometime.

It’s not like they do this once a week or for a few hours a day ITS EVERYDAY FOR HOURS AND HOURS AND HOURS just to be nosy. If I do go in and want something, I can’t sit down. It’s the fact that they take up all the chairs and don’t think about the others coming in wanting a seat. I know someone said something about it going to shut down sometime soon. What will they do then?

I'm going to brag on the Senior Center here in Wilkes they have a great place to come and relax and talk
Etc. Lots of programs as well. But if that's not your thing then I have no problem to keep going to Dunkin Doughnuts it's pretty fun as well.

That’s hilarious-and what is young folk know is if it was us we would be kicked out in a minute! Hahaha. Please App..print this thread and leave it on the tables just make sure to enlarge the font so they can read it. And please come back and confirm you’ve done it. I’d LOVE to see what them old squatters say. They sit there with their prying eyes like Kings and Queens in a castle. The manager done the right thing. They should be ashamed of themselves. I hope they know that.

These young folks don't realize that in our time sitting around and talking to each other was the way we socialized. Restaurant. Drug Store, Soda Shop, we'd even sit for hours on a car hood just communicating. Now they walk around with a cell phone stuck in their face talking to each other.
