the only GC I've ever ate at was in hickory...they used to have a steak you could order from the menu, now I think all you can get is from the buffet....a menu steak is the only way to go....really rare, I mean so rare you could sew it back on the animal....give it anti-rejection drugs and it could grow back.

sorry you are all sick...I doubt it was the MSG though. More than likely a food born bacteria...

KFC is cheaper than GC. At least in my experience.

The last time I ate there the food was old and stale, not to mention way over priced. I won't go back.

Did anyone eat at Golden Corral last night (013115) for dinner and get sick? My family splurged last night and we had one plate of main course (all different) and before we finished our plate & drink we started to facial flushing, face swelling and immediately it was gonna come out the end!! I googled it, appears that is the symptoms of MSG Poisoning.....rat b****rds - they must have soaked the whole buffet with MSG. Wouldn't surprise me if it was in the tea too! We never pig out at buffets, we get a salad, main course & dessert. All in moderation. Just needed a good meal - instead got 1/2 a meal and a full night into next day - sick as dogs.

FYI - benadryl or Ibprofen is suppose to block MSG in your system. I was up all night and googled it. It doesn't get rid of symptoms but it is a little bit of a relief.
