AFTER AN EXHAUSTIVE INVESTIGATION IN WHICH HE INTERVIEWED BOTH THE CONGRESSMAN AND CONGRESSWOMAN, THEIR STAFFS AND PEOPLE CLOSE TO THEM, HE CAME TO THE CONCLUSION THAT THE RUMOR WAS "ABSOLUTELY FALSE."
