Yup, as it always has been.

7 justices gave the rights to the states and the voters that live in those states. The old justices had no right to pass that law without a vote of the American people, that is democracy and we know democrats hate democracy.

Good idea! Let's put it up for a vote on a national level! Put it on the ballot and lets see how the majority votes.

Just looked up the definitions of your name Acumen. Are you sure you are not a Republican. Your name seems to imply you are!

I had a similar experience with my mother and grandmothers from the past. All of them made their choice before they went to the bedroom. None of them used the alley, but called those that did alley cats or hussies.

Old lady must not be very old. My mother's generation and generations going back to the Stone Age had the choice. I had an auntie die in a back alley abortion. Lots of women died.

LOL Acumen, if by change the course of America you mean correctly interpreting the Constitution and making a ruling that reflects that what those six Jusitices did was A) their jobs and B) put this country back on the right course given that the Constitution is still the law of the land. But surely for one that opposes the idea of six people "altering" the "course" I suppose you don't have a problem with just one altering the course and defying the Constitution in the process with an Executive Order do you?

I think the constitution has pretty much made it clear that every American has equal rights. If individual state has the right to make whatever law they want then not every American will have equal rights. Our rights would depend on whatever state we happen to find ourselves in.

First acu has to prove anything its side has accomplished in the last 60 years. Before that, this post is an 1d10t equation.

FYI the Constitution has just enough in it. The Constitution specifically identifies the role of Federal government and limits it's power all while empowering the people. And the 10th Amendment allows for the states to govern themselves beyond what the Constitution allows the Federal government to do. Like it or not the Constitution is still the law of the land and that is how it works.

A law for one American citizen should be the same for every American citizen no matter what state they live in.

The constitution doesn't have a lot of things in it. However, this is not really about abortion, it is about states' rights overriding the wants and needs of the people. It is about 6 people making choices for 319 million Americans. It is about fascists attempting to get control of the lives of the American people.

The Constitution doesn't have a kill innocent life in it.

I find it amazing that six people can change the direction of America. Six people just made a choice for 319 million Americans.

Acumen, you know I find it amazing that six Supreme Court justices could get more done in just a few days than two houses of Congress (with Democrat majorities) and a Democrat president could get done in two years. This is a big win for the Constitution and the right of the states to govern themselves!

What happened Acumen? I seem to recall not long ago you telling me about this unstoppable wave of momentum the left was on that the right would be powerless to stop, that we may just as well give up and go along with the "progressive agenda". JUST HOW COULD THIS BE?! LMAO

If conservatives were pushing for abortions it would be racist.

According to the Washington examiner, "abortion in America has contributed to the greatest decline in black population since the first black slave arrived in the Americas in the 1600s. " More than 20 million black babies have died - more than the entire black population of 1960.
