I was just curious, as I have been a vegetarian for most of my life, then went hard core Vegan and have settled on pescatarian now. Find what suits you despite how another feels. Veganism has come along.

I would drink brandy instead of wine. Hopefully the brandy has been distilled by a professional who utilizes the different boiling points of the deadly methanol and the good ethanol, to eliminate the brain pickling toxin that has turned OC into a flesh eating zombie.
