Where was it stated that Palestine was a nation? After WWII the number of Jews in the area known as Palestine was much less than that of Arabs. They were mostly fugitives from the 19th and early 20th European pogroms and pre-WWII Nazi Germany.

There has never been a nation of palestine. A palestinial state is not a nation. There were as many jews as there were muslims in the region that is being contested. Half of the reason they were plopped down there in 1947.

According to the Bible Joshua and the Israelites committed genocide in order take over Caanan an area which consisted of a number of failed city states. Jericho the best known, like the others was in a state of neglect it's walls in disrepair and unable to defend itself. However, Caanan is not and never has been in any moral sense Jewish territory. After suppressing the Jewish 70 ad revolt the Romans ejected the surviving Jews from the area and renamed it Palestine, a derisory reference to the Jews ancient enemies the Philistines.

The remainder of the Jewish race settled in various areas throughout the known world, retaining their religion and customs. Their adherence to their religion and culture and success in many endeavors such as commerce was a source of envy and hatred among many non-Jews, a situation which still exists to this day. The late 1920's, 1930's and early 1940's saw the greatest persecution of the Jews since their expulsion from Palestine commonly known as the Holocaust.
Pre WWII an ocean liner full of Jews fleeing Nazi Germany sought refuge in the USA, they were refused. Post WWII there were many Jewish survivors of the Holocaust seeking refuge and this time a "solution" was found. Settle them in (The Promised Land) Palestine. The new settlers needed room so they set about ejecting Arabs taking away homes and land which had been theirs for centuries. The Jews eventually declared what had been Palestine to be Israel, which was recognized eventually as a sovereign nation by the USA, and UNO at the USA's urging.
So, a NIMBY nation was born which was not content with what their powerful "friend" had acquired for them but set about encroaching on the remainder of the region which had been "granted" to the Arabs. Over the decades both the USA and UNO have made disapproving noises about the Israeli settlements, but their protests have never been heeded.
I have never stated that I support Hamas, or any other terrorist organization and I do not believe that the majority of Palestinian Arabs approve of the terrorist's actions. Netanyahu's present policy is revenge pure and simple, and in his frustration at his inability to eliminate the actual perpetrators of 10/7 he directs his anger towards all Palestinians.

Yeah it figures that you lefty liberals would come up with an excuse like you did. And I suppose it was fine and dandy that a terrorist org massacred unarmed civilians, raped and murdered small children and even babies. The people of Gaza elected Hamas to run their gov. What was that that one of your favorite commiecrats said a few years back? Oh I remember, elections have consequences. Well I guess that's the price you pay. And it was broadcast on one of your biased media stations, maybe MSNBC or CNN that Hamas was using civilian population as human shields. So you go ahead and support Hamas and those **** protesters. Israel has as much right to protect its citizens as any other nation. What is going on in Gaza would not be happening had the terrorist cowards not have did what happened on October 7. Since 1947 Israel has been bombed attacked and generally "F" ed with by Arab countries. As for the privileged Ivy League cry babies. Yeah keep that sheet where it is. Don't tread on me. My motto. I'll defend myself and my family at all costs. Oh, and I speak numerical. Such as 5.56, 7.62, .45 and so on and so on. Know what I mean?

This kind of thing is regrettable and excessive however, to keep things in perspective they are protesting indiscriminate killing. Women and children are being killed and maimed, the Israelis have killed very few of the Hamas perpetrators of the 10/7 massacre. But I guess you just have to write the women and children off as collateral damage.

Although Netanyahu will never admit it 10/7 was a godsend for him, it took the focus off his upcoming criminal case, and gave him the excuse he needed to annihilate the Palestine Arabs.
If the protest situation were reversed and it was Jews demonstrating against Palestinians, the MAGATS and other Righties would claim they were exercising their right to free speech. Why don't y'all quit trying to impress others with your self-righteous hypocrysy.

Attacking those who attack you is called self defense. Hamas and those who support them are nothing but hate.

Do you believe this is going on at these privileged Ivy League schools. What those students should do is arm themselves and stand their ground. Now I know they can't arm themselves with firearms of course. But I don't know of any laws that say you can't walk around with a baseball bat or a steel pipe or a 2x4. Violence must be met with violence. That's the only thing that will put a stop to these **** privileged little SNOW FLAKES. And of course we have a regime in place in DC that is more worried about a few votes than the safety of citizens. And I guess all those cry babies will get their loans paid by all us taxpayers. It really pisses me off to see so much blatant disrespect for the law and other people's rights. They all need a proper *** kicking. Spoiled brats.
