Let's see what Donnie proposes.. Cuts to SS, Medicare, Medicaid Cuts to SNAP or food stamps Cuts to environmental protections Additions to DEFENSE, even though we already spend more than the next 12(dozen) largest spending nations in the world combined... And why are we the ONLY nation in the industrialized nation in the world without some form of universal healthcare for its citizens ??  And Donnie did'nt GIVE him any kind of funeral....

Exactly. #3 is the biggest one.
I've already discussed #1.
#2 I'm neutral on this one. If someone is old enough to work and pay taxes should be not have a say in government?
3 - no idea what you are talking about.
4 - If they've paid their debt and are now contributing member of society and probably non-violent then why not.
5 - If we truly want a better representation, then the number should be increased and the population has increased. But again I'm sort of neutral here.

Actually a lot of different folks agree with a lot of this stuff...though you haven’t mentioned any proof for the third one yet. Which, if it isn’t true, further invalidates your argument.

Everyone seems to have missed my point in the last line. Proposal #2 through #4 are to increase the number of voters who typically vote Democrat. Getting rid of the Electoral College allows the large population states that typically vote Democrat to decide the President. Obviously changing the makeup of the Supreme Court would help the Dems win back more power in the courts.
The Democrats that are discussing these proposals are only concerned with getting more Democrats (and keeping themselves) in office. Nothing but a big power grab.

Hate to get in middle of a hangs & swucy hookup, yet a nominee for POTUS could win only 11 states out of 57 & still win office.. Would the 46 other states want this?? I doubt so.. Being said, 11 states shouldn't dictate what the other 46 say deemed other wise if that were the case.. Electoral College is fine...

If a someone has served their time and become a productive member of society, why not?
I understand why we may need the electoral college so that less populated states are represented. However, again our founding fathers never imagined the size we'd become. Your vote is supposed to count, however it doesn't appear to be the case.
