Show your work loser. We all know what happens when you attempt to. Show us all the study that says masks don't work.

Must have had a heck of an "I am a true loser and proud of it" TED talk this morning.

Anytime someone says something works, there is no secret, shows they are just talking out of their emotion driven *** and don't care what any actual data says. Just like those that said shut downs and virtual learning work, right killer? You douche bag pansies have killed more people under 45 than covid. And you've destroyed an entire generation in the process too.

Masks work, there is no secret that they work. Does each fabric have a varying degree of effectiveness? Yes. Are some better than others? Yes. Do masks restrict oxygen/co2 flow? No. Is any mask better than no mask? Yes.

There is quite a body of evidence that supports masks working.

If you can't figure out how to find them, then I know you can't comprehend them. No point in me wasting my time.

Annie, I posted the study before. There were two actually.

Do you mind reposting them? I haven't seen them, and I would like to read the context...

You lucky I am not in charge. I would be telling what to do, I would be making you do it or else.

Fins, you should travel in person to each hospital starting in Wilkes, with the important message that they have no need for masks anymore. Make sure you tell them that they are simply cowards and that you are sick of their behavior.

Annie, I posted the study before. There were two actually. The first that everyone was on pins and needles for was from the Netherlands. Your fear mongering is really old. The rest of us just want you to shut up and leave us alone. If you're so scared, then lock yourself in your house. We are getting back to normal.

Source?

I'm pretty sure that you saw a meme regarding cheap cloth masks, and just thought that was all you needed to know...

In an August study published pre-peer review, a group of researchers from universities including Yale and Stanford found that surgical masks are 95% effective at filtering out virus particles compared to just 37% for cloth masks.

That's nice. Complex studies have also shown that in humans, masks have at the most, 10% effectiveness. And the researchers felt that was hopeful.

Study concerning the efficiency of audio reception among frogs study done by a team of scientist from around the world. The frog was placed on the ground and the command to leap was given. The frog leaped for 4 foot. The scientist removed the left front let of the frog, placed it back on the ground and ordered it to leap. The frog leaped for a 3 foot span. Once again the frog was modified by removing the other front foot and commanded to leap, yep sure enough it only leaped for 2 foot. The scientist began to see a pattern and went ahead to verify their experiment by removing on of the frogs back legs. The frog struggled but cleared the 2 foot marker previously placed. To complete the test the scientist removed the other rear leg and told the frog to jump. No movement noticed, The conclusion was: If you remove all of a frogs legs, the frog cannot hear.

Noncontact transmission was found in 66.7% (10/15) of exposed naive hamsters. Surgical mask partition for challenged index or naive hamsters significantly reduced transmission to 25% (6/24, P = .018). Surgical mask partition for challenged index hamsters significantly reduced transmission to only 16.7% (2/12, P = .019) of exposed naive hamsters. Unlike the severe manifestations of challenged hamsters, infected naive hamsters had lower clinical scores, milder histopathological changes, and lower viral nucleocapsid antigen expression in respiratory tract tissues.

Let me translate.

They did a study using masks and hamsters, with COVID-exposed hamsters one one side and unexposed on the other.

There were 3 experiments.

The first had no barrier between the hamsters.

The second had a barrier on the side of the unexposed hamsters.

The third had a barrier on the side of the exposed hamsters.

The first experiment, with no barrier, resulted in 66.7% of the unexposed hamsters to become infected.

The second experiment, with a barrier on the side of the unexposed hamsters, resulted in 25% of them becoming infected.

The third experiment, with a barrier on the side of the exposed hamsters, resulted in 16.7% of the unexposed hamsters becoming infected.

Further, when a barrier was involved then the newly infected hamsters had a much less severe infection and showed milder symptoms.

It also proves that the greatest prevention comes when both the infected person and the uninfected person are wearing a mask.
