Hey suckin'jimblow, from the title, "most scientists"......
We know YOU have great difficulty understanding AND comprehending the big words used to describe Milankovitch Cycles but they are crucial to the bigger picture regarding the variations in Earth's insolation relative to surface temperature as it has effected warmingchangeglobalclimate since the Earth was formed.
Discovering an anomaly is nothing more than an anomaly, wherever it is found.
Now, moving past your distraction AND for the purpose of further polite discussion woulda YOU suggest a time frame for the climate cycle, taking into account factors for obliquity, eccentricity AND precession.

****, show us what is anonymous in my link.
Also, you copying and pasting big words and phrases gives you no credibility, as usual.

Fakey (view profile) | Posted 6:42 pm, 10/15/2023 | Hey suckinjimblow, yet another anonymous rebuttal with nuffin' to back it up. I have posited that the climate pendulum cycles every 10,000 years or so, give or take a couple of hundred years. |
But you've yet to post a link to support your theory and without it you're merely stating your opinion.

The terrible hurricane season turned out to be one , which was particularly devastating. Probably get hot again next summer for a couple weeks.

You can save those .gov links, 1/2 wit. Nobody believes what the government says about climate. Or inflation. Or jobs. Or wars.

Dear Surfer... please read and digest article before making dumb arse comments.
"Over the past year, dozens of scientists have produced papers warning that the summer of 2023 and possibly into the next decade would be abnormally hot."

Since volcano eruption was over a year ago the effects of temporary warming is long over. Climate change is real.

When the Hunga Tonga-Hunga Ha'apai volcano erupted on Jan. 15, it sent a tsunami racing around the world and set off a sonic boom that circled the globe twice. The underwater eruption in the South Pacific Ocean also blasted an enormous plume of water vapor into Earth's stratosphere enough to fill more than 58,000 Olympic-size swimming pools. The sheer amount of water vapor could be enough to temporarily affect Earth's global average temperature. "We've never seen anything like it," said Luis Milln, an atmospheric scientist at NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Southern California. He led a new study examining the amount of water vapor that the Tonga volcano injected into the stratosphere, the layer of the atmosphere between about 8 and 33 miles (12 and 53 kilometers) above Earth's surface.

Underwater volcanic eruption thought to have contributed greatly to hot summer
On Jan. 15, 2022, the underwater Hunga TongaHunga Ha'apai volcano in the Pacific exploded. The volcano triggered tsunamis in the South Pacific and sent a massive plume of water vapor into the stratosphere. Over the past year, scientists have increased the estimates of how much water vapor went into the stratosphere. That water vapor, every scientist agrees, warms the planet.
