The Joe Biden administration continues to use executive authority to regulate popular household appliances at an unprecedented level, with claims that their changes will save consumers money and help slow climate change and its alleged effects on the environment. Though the latest set of restrictions the administration is mandating is for gas-powered furnaces, that is only the latest and far from the last.

This morning, the MSN news feed, which is displayed to millions of people when they open a new Internet tab, prominently displayed an article titled, " The climate crisis is here, the ecosystem is starting to collapse." Embedded in the usual debunked claims of worsening extreme weather were claims that climate change is devastating crop production around the world. [emphasis, links added] In particular, the article singled out rice, sugar, and tomato production as particularly ravaged by climate change. The objective facts, however, show just the opposite.

DumbBell and his retro friends have been on their anti EV campaign for over 5yrs. They pick up on every glitch in the development of EV's and every production problem the manufacturers experience. Yet, the major auto producers go "blindly" on regardless of the setbacks they experience. Could it be that the auto industry should heed DumbBell and his cronies and their superior wisdom?

The electric vehicle honeymoon is over. Don't expect the marriage itself to last much longer either.
The mass conversion from internal combustion engine vehicles (ICEs) to electric vehicles was never more than a Democrat/environmentalist hallucination anyway. It was the most ill-conceived government policy objective in modern history. The transition should have been a nonstarter. It's riddled with numerous deal killers. Nobel Prize laureate John Clauser has recently been in the spotlight for challenging prevailing climate models, which he says have ignored a key variable. Recently, Mr. Clauser joined another Nobel laureate and over 1,600 professionals in signing the World Climate Declaration (WCD) organized by Climate Intelligence (CLINTEL). This declaration asserts that there is no "climate emergency," that climate change science is not conclusive, and that the Earth's history over thousands of years shows a consistently changing climate. Prominent climate reports, such as those by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), National Academy of Sciences, and the Royal Society, emphasize the role of CO2 but miss the mark on the critical role of clouds in the climate system, according to Mr. Clauser. He recalled, "I raced across the Pacific Ocean at least a dozen times. I had set up the boat with solar panels to charge the batteries. � I had an ammeter on the power output from the solar panels, and I noticed every time we sailed under a cloud, the output from the solar panels dropped by 50 percent to half of its value that it was, and then we came out from behind the cloud and boom, their power went back up. And I thought, �I wonder why it's just about a factor of two.'" "This is how I became very curious as to how clouds work. When the climate issues came along, I very quickly realized that cloud cover has a profound effect on the Earth'**** input that the clouds are reflecting a massive amount of light back out into space.
"I believe I have the missing piece of the puzzle that has been left out in virtually all of these computer programs," he stated. "And that is the effect of clouds."

Verdict: Misleading. Compared with most of the earth's history, this summer is unusually cold. The "record" referred to is kept by the United Nations World Meteorological Organization and European climate service Copernicus. It goes back only to 1940.

There is no real real intelligence to deny the "climate crisis" or its impact, President Joe Biden warned sceptics and doubters Saturday as he toured damage in Florida left behind after Hurricane Idalia smashed through the Big Bend region. Speaking to reporters in front amongst fallen trees and debris, Biden pointed to recent weather events and disasters, saying: "Nobody can deny the impact of [the] climate crisis.
