Not by land that is why its an island but it is connected by two bridges and 3 subways. It is also connected by a 3rd bridge to Kuwn Tong which is connected to Hong Kong by land

Actually looking at google maps you are wrong once again. Google maps shows a main land Hong Kong and a Hong Kong island

The Trump University scholars on here should google Hong Kong Island, take out their sharpies and on their computer screen, cross out the word Island and write the word Attachment. Problem solved.

Hong Kong is connected to China by a 34 mile long bridge and tunnel:
In comparison, it's about 50 miles from the Florida coast to the Bahamas. But it's also about 30 miles from the California coast to the Farallon Islands, which are owned by the US.

Can you get to Hong Kong from China? Oh wait, Hong Kong is part of China. Of course you can get to Hong Kong from China. If you're in Hong Kong you're in China. Only a person of limited intelligence would see it otherwise.
