The shooter didn't have a body cam, or so they are saying. Can someone link the dash cam video?

It does look like a leg holster.

Also from the dash cam footage you can tell the guy in the red doesn't shoot because when the shots are fired he flinches and his gun drops towards the truck. Also you can tell that the guy whose body cam footage was released didn't pull the trigger either because when he comes around the truck he's actually holding his taser.

There should be two more body cams that haven't been released yet. They probably won't release the shooters using the argument it's to protect his constitutional rights.

So the weapon shown as the one from the scene was a .380 Colt Mustang. I never see the gun during the shoulder cam footage but what appears to be an empty holster can be seen fairly well on Mr. Scott's lower leg/ankle.

Now the chief says they will only release part of the video and you will not see the gun . Whats wrong with this picture that they are trying to paint ? Why not release all the video ?

Think about this, a black man setting in a pick up truck waiting for his kid's school bus. Next thing you know he is surrounded by armed men yelling for him to get out of his truck. Then this black man just setting there waiting for his kid is shot and killed because the cops didn't like his attitude. The cops admit he was the wrong man. No one has asked why the cops didn't just walk up and tap on his window to see who he was? Because he was a black man setting in a pick up. He had to be a criminal. Then you wonder why other black people are pissed off.

According to that link Mr. Scott was a felon who had been to prison for seven years, with illegal posession of a firearm being part of the conviction. The police at the scene could have had knowledge of this from simply entering the license plate of his vehicle. All that really matters is was he holding a weapon and refused to drop it after repeated commands to do so.

Breaking news....CMPD are going to release the video of the shooting .

There looks to be an attempt to paint all LEO's in a bad light so any thing that can be used for that purpose is highlighted and pushed. There is a war on LEO's all coming from you-know-who so they have already been stressed to the max. Also with all the immigrants the 'bleeding hearts' are bringing into this country and the push to grab guns, makes you wonder if there is not a total disregard for the citizens of the United States. All this was planned out to happen years ago in order to bring us down.

What makes you think the cops didn't do their jobs? Most likely (and we don't know for sure yet) they were following standard procedures which are approved by the mayor and city council. So maybe the mayor and city council are at fault?

I'm not sure when the city mayor is up for reelection but I hope the people of Charlotte are smart enough not to reelect that pos.

If the cops had done their job correctly Scott would have picked up his kid and gone home. None of this would have happened. Scott would still be alive and no one would be looting and pillaging. I guess Scott shouldn't have been black and setting and waiting for his kid. That is a **** good reason to shoot someone.

Well, the only thing to do is recommence the looting and pillaging.

I said yesterday after reviewing the footage for only a few minutes that the black cop dropped what appeared to be his own gun clip. It did look like a gun in one frame but it would have to be a small gun.

Ironically, it was the black cop.
