we are doing just what the politicians want. we are screaming at each other over dem this this republican that all the while they are both screwing us over. I can't figure out why this is so hard to understand.

But just to stay on topic, your “back in the day” statement has never been true in America. We are the land of the free and the home of the brave and have always taken pride in the freedom to hate or love our leaders openly.

Politics appears to be what Wilkes is interested in. So it goes. Maybe folks will be interested in other things later. For myself, I am interested in cooking and cooking utensils recently, but my interests fluctuate. I have recently developed an interest in Mexican and Indian ceramics as I am trying to find the right cabinet knobs.

I wish there was another forum for the political posters. I am so sick of all the political posts on the site. Just on the 1st page alone 98% of the posts are something to do with political bull crap. You all gripe back and forth just like the government never getting anything accomplished but fussing and belittling each other Back in the day if you didn't support your president you could be accused of treason and punished. The real truth is they are good and bad on both sides and they all lie. The bright side is if you are one of the ones that are upset you can deal with it for 4 years and vote again or better yet even try running..JMO
