Michael, you have a filter through which you view everything. You think you are right and you interpret scripture through the lens of your Michael Johnsonology belief system rather than letting your beliefs be shaped by scripture.

I think Michael is a bot. You just post random verses. In another post I had just referenced that same passage to rebuke you for trying to divide scripture into some more authoritative passages and some with less authority. Then you post the same thing? Do you not see your inconsistency?

Again, no Christian would disagree with that point. Jesus is the only way to the Father, because he is fully man and fully God.

All scripture is inspired by God. Genesis, Jeremiah, Matthew, Acts, Romans, Revelation, they are all Jesus speaking. Your hyper-Red Letterism is at issue. You think some passages are "more" inspired than others. How do you know the words of Christ if it were not for the apostles recording them for you. You know. John, who was with Peter or Luke who travelled with Paul, etc?

Michael, when have you ever heard a Christian say that we are not saved by faith? What did you just quote by Paul? Saved through Faith BY Grace. You are the one who draws this irrational distinction between the two. You severely downplay the role of "BY grace" due to your faulty anthropology. You do not understand the extent of the effects of the Fall and thus believe man, of his own volition, has the ability to follow God, contrary to the testimony of scripture. You are DEAD in your sins and tresspasses. Dead men do nothing. That is the role of grace. The Holy Spirit brings us to life and we exercise faith unto repentance. Salvation is through faith by grace.

I think he has a good point in noting that some people find their practice in one portion of scripture without consulting the whole. However, his solution is to divide the scripture and make one portion more authorative than another. Jesus said the scripture cannot be broken.

Oh my word. You Christians says Paul say we saved by grace. That's not what Paul wrote. Paul said plainly that THROUGH Faith You are Saved by grace.
