Join us for William Lenoir's 266th Birthday. Help us celebrate with "Live Music, Dancing and lots of Merriment". Learn about some of the hobbies William Lenoir had. See an 18th century beer making demo and sample William Lenoir's "good strong beer" recipe. Tour his home and learn about its construction and his meticulous attention to detail.
We will serve a special birthday cake in his honor at Noon.
A special 18th century dancing demonstration will be featured from 10 - 1 and we invite the public to join in. Experience for yourself how the residents of Happy Valley celebrated such a joyous occasion. No 18th century dance skills are necessary as Ms. Roberta Kogut, our caller, will lead you through each step with grace and ease.
