R.G Absher of Elkin N.C. is a long time historian,musician and storyteller. R.G. enjoys sharing his knowledge on Wilkes County history. Absher is one of the founders of the Wilkes Heritage Museum and has published "Ghosts of the Yadkin Valley". During the story telling session, RG will share stories from his book and personal experiences associated with the legends and tales of Wilkes County.
The story telling session on TUESDAY APRIL 22 will start at 6:30 pm and will take place in the Lou Grevas- Black Box Theater on the Main Floor of Benton Hall Center for the Arts .Admission is free.
Following the story telling, guests are invited to join in an evening of Contradance.
