The Hot Winter Nights Party has been rescheduled for February 19th from 5:30-8:30 pm.
Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Wilkes Library or that evening at the door.

The Wilkes County Public Library and the Friends of the Library are excited to announce our �Hot Winter Nights Party". It may be chilly outside, but we�ll be heating things up at the library with music, dancing, drinks, and food from Elsewhere on 10th! All proceeds from this event will be used to support Imagination Caf�. Imagination Caf� is a free lunch program available in the library to all children-all summer long. The goal of Imagination Caf� is twofold: provide free lunch to children and incorporate a literacy activity at each meal time. There is a strong correlation between socioeconomic status and summer reading loss- we think by specifically targeting children in need we have a real shot at reducing summer slide. Last year the imagination caf� served 1,288 meals to 325 different children! We hope to increase the number of meals and children served and provide more dynamic literacy activates. Our �Hot Winter Nights Party� is Friday, February 19th from 5:30-8:30 PM at the library. Tickets can be purchased at the Wilkes County Library.
