At the Concert, guitars will be presented to three Wilkes County Purple Heart Recipients.

Also during the event, there will be a Classic Car Show at the Fort Hamby Amphitheater, food and memorabilia vendors, and raffles for items, some of which include: three signed guitars (one by Richard Petty); a Harley leather jacket; Friends walking stick; leaf blower; weekend for two at the Holiday Inn/Hampton Inn. A silent auction for a guitar signed by Colt Ford will also be held.

Volunteers for this event are needed and can register by calling Eileen Kerr at 336 921 4505. All volunteers will receive free membership to the Friends of the W. Kerr Scott Lake non-profit group and lunch and beverages. Friends of the Lake will also be recruiting new members for half of the membership fee.
