he North Wilkesboro Zombie Apocalypse is a (hopefully) annual charity event sponsored by Zombie enthusiasts in partnership with the Wilkes Playmakers, Downtown North Wilkesboro Partnership and local businesses in supporting charities within Wilkes County, NC.

So what is there to do?
* A Zombie Walk down historic Main Street,
* A "Run for your Life" Zombie 2k Run,
* The Hunter and the Hunted, a dark genre Cosplay Contest! Prizes awarded for Best Costumes!
* Performances by 3 Quarters Dead, Wilkes County own premiere Hard rockers! and The Graveyard Boulevard!
* Meet and greet our guests, such as Digger the Zombie, Hillside Horror, the Carolina Coffin Cruisers, Wilkes County Zombie Response Unit, Rowan County Zombie Outbreak Response Unit 12, Ghoul Skool, Zombie Event documenter, Debi Waddell and more!
* 2 Short films at the Wilkes County Library include "Infectious" and "Dawn of the Stalkers"
* Free Zombie Makeovers by some of the best FX Makeup Artists in NC!
* Browse the vendors displaying unique genre related merchandise, food and drinks!
All proceeds in 2015 go to Beanstalk Adventure Playground, H.O.P.E. Ministries (Food Drive) and others.
